Mother if you were with me, I would have held you tight I am nothing but a lonely wanderer without you I can not feel right, You were my life, my soul, my guide How can I have any insight? I still remember your unfailing care & love Right from morning till night You did everything to comfort me if I ever cried No one can be what you were to me How can any one else stand-in with you Mother! What if you come back to me? Oh! God why mothers are not immortal From heaven, you still love me I just wanna tell, how much I love you

Oh my goodness. Nobody should have to lose their Mum. They should definitely be immortal :( Sad but wonderful poem. The only criticism I would have is that in stanza 1 'Mother if you were with me, I would have hold you tight' I would write 'held' instead of 'hold' as it makes more sense. :)
