    Hello Brenda.

I always favour Newton's 3rd law of motion when reading pieces like this.

    All the best.

Just kidding! I say that because it states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction (I am getting there, honest). My point. When someone is in our lives that means so much to us and brings us so much happiness, it stands to reason that - when they should die - we are equally (but oppositely) affected. Equally, if we suffer in life, or we see someone suffering, death is actually a blessing. Death certainly can stir very different emotions in us and certainly has the power to shape our lives, for better or worse.

As far as feeling guilty about writing because of it is concerned, I really shouldn't worry too much about that; we write because we need to.....I'm sure even the dead would understand that.

Take care Brenda and all the best,
    Ben

Ben, thank you for your words of wisdom. I sometimes feel guilty when my most creative comes at someone else's pain and loss. Yeah, I know the dead understand but do the living? I try not to offend but sometimes my words get ahead of me. You are definitely right about the reason we write, I couldn't stop if I tried. Thank you again! Brenda
