I'm sorry

by DarkLight   Mar 15, 2016

I will gather every tear you ever shade
bathe in it for my soul to be cleansed,
and with two simple words,
on my way I will be.
I'm sorry.

I think this is the most beautiful piece I have read for awhile. It's so pure and I can picture you doing what you say just so the person knows you're sorry as I can feel the emotion in the piece.
The only thing I can point out is 'bath' meant to be 'bathe.'

What a pleasing piece of poetry to read and to view - your layout really drew me in and it kept the poem tight and focused.
A very sad poem and a very sad end - the idea of cleansing your soul with her tears and then saying sorry and being on your way in a sort of dreadful acceptance of the relationship's end.

My only quibble would be "am sorry" - would it not read better as "I'm sorry"?

Just my opinion - either way, a great write.
    Take care,
    Ben
