In the Brown of your Eyes

by Everlasting   Mar 17, 2016

You see stars in eyes,
dark brown, elapsing into
space, to its own universe,
contracting mind,
pushing far away from earth,
backing out faster
and faster,
as body compacts
and falls...
falls....
and falls...
to an embracement
of a ground.

Faints!

Now,
You see no stars
but black in eyes.
And light comes out
and earth is back
as stars no longer shine.
But in my heart no light
ceased to brighten my mornings
nor my nights.
And then it was
the moment of your life
when nothing
seemed to darken
your daily life,
but it was there
in a moment of a flash
that light hit your eyes
and then you saw
that it was not my fault
the photo captured your smile.
And then you saw
that it was dark,
but dark was not revealed
not in your eyes,
not in your smile,
nor in the picture that shows
that you did smile and laugh
because your life wasn't dark
Just your sight,
and so I say that you are light
for my heart has been enlighten
by your smile and laugh
plus the picture that shows
that you did care
and hence
you fainted
to kiss the ground.

To the embracement of my heart,

When you found out
that I was the universe you aimed to have
but realized
that earth was really where i was.

Right there in the brown
of your eyes

Earth,

I,

You kissed the ground.

and came back to life.
