Tears bloomed

by Everlasting   Mar 18, 2016

Tears were blooming like roses,
Born from the roots of pain,
stemming from eyes,
And those eyes, had irises of thorns:
brown and sharp.
And those tears, were falling on cheeks,
like petals,

with a fragrance that everyone could understand.

So very pretty, beautiful descriptive of sorrow. We think our faces aren't so pretty when we are in the middle of a good cry but your poem tells us more.

A picture of a beautiful rose with a soft heart yet a sharp surface surrounds it to always bring back those who touch it to reality. I really like the descriptions and the read itself touched me...lovely write dear.

I like this! It's graceful. It's easy to relate to, as the ending mentioned - beautiful metaphors, lovely work!
And thank you for your comment! ^_^
