Your Words Live on Cindy

by Meena Krish   Mar 19, 2016

Cherished thoughts
Inked in my heart
Never will it fade or die,
Dear to all whom you've touched
Your memories will never cease;

You
have entered
a sanctum where pain
or sorrow does not exist,
You have embraced a life of love and stillness
as aches from my eyes release
and I tell myself...
you are at
peace;

Your spirited words
still alive fills the home
you have built,
keeping us together
with the touch of
your tender breeze.

(Order of poem- Acrostic, Mirror Oddquain & Free verse)

I know I've not done well with this poem but I had to get it out of
me...even though it is out I can't help feel the loss of a lovely soul who has helped me.

    Ms. Meena, I just came upon Mr. Darcy's poem for Cindy (RIP) and my heart just broke into pieces...I didn't know she is gone already or what was her sickness, huhu...She is a lovely soul and a friend to everyone.

    I searched for poems named Cindy and found this.

    Hello Meena.

    I never knew Cindy but I know she would love this it's so beautiful. It brought a tear to my eye. You write so beautifully.

    It's strange that grief can bring out such power in our writes (although you always write well)

    Take care, Em
