Doing it right

Just a note, I have no desire to hurt myself. I was just visiting old thoughts and this came to me....

Vertically not horizontally
they say
if you want to do it right
I guess I'm not too picky
if in the end
it reaches
the same results...
I've lived my life
as a struggle,
poor choices,
bad picks
so why should
I care
if my headstone reads;
"Her execution was mediocre
but at least she stuck
the landing"
It's all good
really....

    This hit home for me, I've self harmed before and overdosed once it's not worth it. Keep up the good writting!

      Wow! It really is so not worth it, I'm glad you made it through. We all have our days that suck but those days are just bad days, good ones are right around that corner. I always hold out for those good ones. Thank you for the kind words! take care, Brenda

    I suffer depression but never have I thought of self harming but this is deep.

      Thank-you! It's crossed my mind a time or two but thankfully never acted on it.
