Would it help, to worry

by DarkLight   Mar 25, 2016

I saw the pain in her
and my heart limped
couldn't console
even for my own soul.
Would it help,
to worry,
when there is nothing you can do to change ,
The life I chose,
is but a path
set to rob me of my fate
my dreams,
my destiny.
The comfortable life surrounded by love
joy, happiness and peace of mind.
Time is far wasted,
to dwell in the absence of love,
the shadow have ears
I learn that back in the year.

It's so hard to watch a love one go down a path of destruction. As you said it so eloquently, you know what you are doing, you know your loves worry but you've set your path-come hell or high water. It's a cold lonely path you are on-come in from the outside. Brenda

"my heart limped" and "the shadows have ears" are excellent lines - they really stood out to me.

Does it help to worry? No, absolutely not - the problem is, that rarely stops us from worrying!

Take care and all the best
