I have to be entirely honest here. I was all ready to sit down and offer an in-depth analysis but after reading it a few times, I don't have a clue what it is about.....but I absolutely love it, as abstract as it is (to me at least!)

I first thought he was tasting her blood (hence her cowering) - a vampire's kiss - but then remembered (belatedly) that blood has iron not copper in it!
So that was that theory out the window and here I am offering you nothing but congratulations on a mesmerizing little write!
