Cove Dance Anthem

by Larry Chamberlin   Apr 3, 2016

I am music
my mother is soul
get up and dance
to the rock 'n' roll

Stay on the floor
as your body sways
change partners now
while the music plays

When the gig is over
don't even go home
the joint's down the road
let your feelings roam

If you love someone
then let them know
if your heart is cold
then let them go

    Hello Larry,

this has a good ole rock 'n' roll jive about it. It makes me think of Quiffs and Brylcreem. Did you ever use this product to style your hair? I can imagine you with a comb in your back pocket and a girl on each arm. Maybe, a drive in show... Or perhaps that's just my imagination? lol

I like the poem, it is sing songy and perfect for the theme.

    A good write,

    Take care,

    Michael
