April 6 - I think I crashed

by Everlasting   Apr 6, 2016

My mind is drifting off.

I can't control my thoughts.

I was once a ship sailing in a sea of words.
I wasn't the sailor, but my soul.
I was stirred into waves, almost into rocks,
Some may have thought that I was lost.

Now, I'm not a ship
Now, I'm one with the sea

Before, I was guided towards shores of unconsciousness.
But now, I'm unconsciously conscious of the unconsciousness of that shore

I think I crashed.

Looks like writing has taken its toll and the muse decided to take a trip! Over burning and over doing and then comes a point where the pen falls and the mind, heart and emotions have all been emptied out. It has taken its toll and finally crashed..even in this write you have caught the reader with your words!

This reminds me so much a ddavidd type poem where the reader has to think twice about what they are reading and at the third attempt are still trying to fathom it out and then......their brain crashes. Very interesting write missy!

I'd say that crashing is a good thing here, but that is just how I read it, probably.

Yeah, it is a good thing. Tiring though. Very tiring.
