    Lovely Dagmar.

I'm only 34, but I already can sympathise with the sentiment of this poem. As you get older, you really do learn an awful lot. Good things come and go, bad things come and go but through it all we get a little stronger with each adventure or......misadventure!
*by the way, first line of the second stanza is missing an 'e' in succeed.

Take care and all the best

    Hi Dagmar,

Your words are so touching and realistic. I think the most important thing while getting old is enjoying every moment, sending positive energy and much love, that's the best way to deal with this :)

    Enjoy the day

Dagmar, how very true on getting older and learning and letting go. Being at peace with ourselves is so important-some people never reach that point and how sad is that-

With age comes experience and wisdom. From it we see through the milestones we have traveled and as we get older, realization sets in and meaning of life opens our eyes. Liked the message this write sends out...well penned!

Such truth and wisdom learned through living life. I loved in particular the last piece

    'my soul is at peace,
something my eyes has not seen'

How often does our mind and soul recognise something that our eyes have yet to see.
