Me

There's this girl I know. She seems so happy, so strong. She's always helping people. But what you don't realize is she's broken. Her eyes are so empty but filled with sadness. Her mind is always going a hundred miles an hour. Her body feels so empty. She feels nothing but emptyness but filled with so much pain. She cries herself to sleep, her soul is gone. She can't grip on to reality. She can't seem to let go. She doesn't understand why she's feeling this way, yesterday was great. She was smiling, laughing and enjoying life. But today isn't like yesterday at all. There's this girl I know, I see her every day. She stares back at me. I don't feel like I know her at all. But the reality is.... the girl staring back at me........is me.
