Our Soldier In The Sky:

by Scott Cole   Apr 20, 2016

Another soilder is in Heaven
Proudly wearing his uniform,
Just a true American soilder
From the moment he was born.

For he is still on active duty
Still fighting on foreign soils,
To end this War on Terrorism
So all his efforts will not spoil.

He's a husband and a father
The protector of this land,
He's my love and my World
Such a complete soilder man.

He has love for his Country
He'll fight till his own death,
He has love for his family
For they are his every breath.

He walked those killing fields
That Afghanistan did provide,
And he layed down his life
So others wouldn't have to die.

Yes God finally called him home
Said his days on Earth are done,
But we still have his fond memories
And we're so thankful for every one.

There's no reason to second guess
For he was the best he could be,
Wheather he's wearing his uniform
Or dressed like you and me.

He's my soilder and I'm his wife
And it makes me really proud,
Knowing he is finally at peace
High up there amongst the clouds.
