My sorrowful pockets |
by Mr. Darcy
Hello Andrea, |
Andrea, what a sorrowful poem of loss. Setting up the mood so visually with images of skeletal remains. A fresh view of dandelion ashes a reminder of the people you have lost. Ashes and the seeds of the Dandelion all fly away on the wind like the souls of the friends we have lost. |

Andrea, this is just beautiful! I love the imagery of your pocket full of your loved ones skeletal remains in the form of dandelion seedlings-Letting them blow into the wind, releasing their spirits, awesome write! |
Death is part of life but we really don't like to talk about it since death is final. We all start off as a tiny seed, last for a season and then turn into ashes. The only thing that's left is the spirit. That will remain forever. Take care and many blessings. Hugs. |

Love the images here. So many people see these as sad, somber pieces, but I see a possibility for rejuvenation. Dandelion whispers wishes, and the ashes, to me, signify a hope for another time/life. |
