I'm not sure if I'm correct, but I'm picking up a political tone in this piece. The title hints at their being a theme of human creation gone awry, I think perhaps ethnocentrism devolving into racism? The concluding lines 'in the minds of ignorants'

- which reminds me, ignorants isn't a word since the root word is an adjective, being a bit pedantic but thought I'd mention it. I know what you were going for, and fully support the reason why you chose 'ignorants' over 'ignoramuses.

err, like i was saying before, the concluding lines make me think of racism (or bigotry?) since it conjures up the classical image of an entity sitting on someone's shoulder, trying to guide them.

You always find absolutely beautiful forms, and execute them well. Really enjoyed this!
