    Just when I think you can't out due yourself, you prove me wrong...yet again lol. And with that said 10 syllables of pure picturesque wonderfulness!! Almost reminds me of the little mermaid.

    This is truly beautiful and the form fascinated me as (guess what) I hadn't heard of it BUT I know of - and have written - haiku. I am also aware that, despite contrary belief, haiku/senryu do not HAVE to have 17 syllables - 17 or less I think is acceptable.
    Anyway. How you have made 10 syllables so beautiful and such a pleasure to read is beyond me....but you have!

      I think this variation was introduced by "Marlene Mountain", still the original Japanese structure would always be the finest.
