Bring back those flowering blossoms
That always make me scratch and itch,
Those that's strung across the meadows
Where a family picnic might be pitched.
Right up under that big ole shade tree
Where the sunshine and I don't sweat,
Among all of those perfumed flowers
Where I sit to try and catch my breath.
A little rest for my mind and body
From those worries life has brought,
As I frolic through those grassy fields
Peace and quiet silence my thoughts.
