Very good, liked the nice relaxed flow and the final reveal at the end the worthless lost penny :)

You have given a lonely penny an emotion and feelings. We always think a penny has no value but in fact it carries more then we think. Likewise we always fail to see the worth in others and discard them until its late and we learn the lesson.

I like the message you have brought into this poem using a penny. I'm so happy that you are writing again...its sooooo good to read your works once again :)

William this is very well written and has a fabulous (as always) unforced rhyme like the words just float off the tongue when read especially aloud.

Title - at first thought I wondered if this was about waiting for your souls mate to find you and then realised it was in miscellaneous then thought against it and got intrigued by the many thoughts rolling around my head lol.

1: This is every thought provoking beginning and makes the reader (well me anyway) what was dropped, why does nobody care??

2: This made me believe that it wasn't a pet just 'lost' as there'd be posters everywhere well I would hope so anyway.

3: This shows that whatever is lost is there for all to spot and they/it can see them too but links back to the first stanza of nobody giving a damn about it being lost but what exactly was lost? I still find myself questioning.

4: Here we have the answer to all my prayers the a answer to what exactly was lost, the poor lost penny.... Now, I like how you use words related to money like worthless, devalued, value and inflations; I think thats really good. I feel the lost penny is a big a thing and wonder how many millions those pennies amount to. I know when I used to work cleaning a supermarket car park there was loads. Maybe I could have been a millionaire lol.

    Fab, unique write.
