Beautifully written. So many women would be able to relate to this unfortunately. Although about a delicate subject you made it beautiful as always. I'm adding this to my faces so I can nominate it when I get my votes back.

I wrote a poem about this subject a year ago or so, and it's a delicate and sad one to cover. The mask of lipstick cannot cover what is a horrid way to live. I mean that purely from the woman's point of view; some don't think they have a choice and live miserably because of it.

Thanks Em and Ben for your comments and I do agree with you both that it is indeed a delicate subject ,but it is good that we share with everyone out there to help them be cautious.

Its a pity to see so many helpless women reduced to this state and it becomes their livelihood..if only they had a chance.. Like Em said its a delicate subject yet you make it sound tender and give a sympathetic feeling. Touching..
