Bowl Full Of Cherries:

by Scott Cole   May 9, 2016

Like a bowl full of cherries
Half moon in the sky,
Except for her cherries
Are missing inside.

They're scattered all about
Across the mountain tops,
All those little cherries
That make your heart stop.

They're right in the middle
Of a bunch of lovely stuff,
All that stunning beauty
That eyes can't get enough.

All those little cherries
That give off that twinkle,
Have no time for a nap
Like did Rip Vann Winkle.

For they mingle with friends
The nightime and moonlight,
All those little cherries
Like diamonds in the night.

Oh bless your little heart
Half moon like a bowl,
With all your little cherries
Holding wishes dared told.

For every hope driven cherry
That the bowl doesn't hold,
Is a chance taking little wish
That's fueled by a hopeful Soul.

Scott, I love this although at this point can't comment properly due to tiredness.

    For every hope driven cherry
    That the bowl doesn't hold,
Is a chance taking little wish
That helps lift up the soul.
    ^^
Love this sending because there's some optimism there.
