Michael I liked very much your portrayal of betrayal. Betrayal haunts the mind and it is difficult to put it to rest.
    Liked the lines:

    The sinful feat you achieved
    a constant taunt and goad.

it raises a whole bag of emotions and hints at the type of betrayal being much more than just one of two timing, a much deeper hurt of loss of standing or self esteem

Karma will always come back eventually that is the beauty of it. You never ever have
to wish anyone ill because whether to day or many years from now I have seen Karma
    get dues owed.

It makes it so much more deep a hurt when
young love is betrayed because they don't have the same tools to deal with betrayal
as perhaps one older and more experienced in the ways of the world.

Forgiving and forget is easy to say if you don't have a broken heart its one of those irritating well meant platitudes that people roll out when they are trying to make you feel better.
Real forgiveness comes from strength and one day the hero will wake up one morning blissfully happy in the arms of a real true love and suddenly realise that was before was put dust in comparison.

I liked very much that last almost cheerful line
    "But I do my best"

that speaks volumes of optimism in the face of pain and great wisdom because that's all you can do in life is to do your best. It leaves me feeling that despite his pain this young man is going to be alright.
    Take care Milly x

Thank your Milly for your feedback and words. I agree with you the 'just dues' when in mind when writing is that I hope they may have/had to learn /learned something about themselves and maybe to give back something of themselves, which may be difficult, but I guess its all about learning curves in life for us all :)

Michael, i really enjoyed reading this as it's true.

Karma works in mysterious ways and it's fun when it finally does work. Lol

I really liked this-betrayal is a hard thing to digest and keep down, but karma when it comes around and bites them good, priceless!
