These dark walls which I stare Have no lights just a glare, Pertruding through two rusty holes Nothing else the rest is bare. Just me and this dark wall That swallows my body whole, My crazy self is doing time My mind my body and Soul. Oh I wished that big iron door Would swing upon his hinges, Spare me a lifetime of misery Pulling myself from it's fringes. But I'll never lower my head As long as I see her glare, The only thing that I live for Is that sunbeam which I stare.
