Heavenly Promise

Prayer is a beacon,
a guide towards the light,
The faith of endurance
within the dark night.

An angel's sweet glow,
in silence will lead,
A heavenly blessing
that understands need.

Charity is an example,
a deed of the hand,
Faith inside the heart
can help one to stand.

The promise we make
to believe in His name,
The heavens whisper 
as if to proclaim.

Jesus suffered torment,
forgave sins of man,
He heals the broken heart
as only He can.

Keep your faith strong
and in His name pray,
Jesus is your redeemer
no matter the day.
