Watched Over By a Loving God

In the beauty of the heavens
a light shines ever bright.
It emits a radiant feeling
in the soul that all be right.

Seen with eyes of faith
the spirit that is there,
A humble heart of praise
knelt in fervent prayer.

The scripture word a beacon
that helps you to endure,
A mind that can be reverent
when the heart is feeling poor.

Follow in the steps of Christ
and do the best you can.
There is greater meaning
in The Lord's eternal plan.

Have faith in the miracles,
blessings meant to heal,
Jesus watch over the sheep
aware of how they feel.

The shepherd finds the lost
beaten by a hateful word,
A black sheep will wander
in safety among the herd.

The persecuted see the beauty
of the heavens up above,
Aware of personal promises
and the blessings of God's love.
