Broken (And Bleeding Out)

by Some Random Human   May 19, 2016

Crushed underneath,
of the weight from the strain,
and the pain that you placed,
upon me on the day,
that you left and declared,
that you just couldn't stay,
so you turned, wouldn't face,
when you said that you hate,

Broken, and bleeding out,
open, you stripped all the doubt,
fallen, down on my knees,
callin', but you don't hear me,

Dead of the night,
there's a pain in my chest,
lost and alone,
it is what I know best,
tortured inside,
will I ever find rest,
this house is no home,
it's a grave I detest,

Broken, and bleeding out,
open, you stripped all the doubt,
fallen, down on my knees,
callin', but you don't hear me,
hoping, that you will return,
knowing, you left me to burn,
crawling, down on my knees,
clawing, but I'll never get free,

I'm broken, and bleeding out,
left open, you stripped all the doubt,
I've fallen, down on my knees,
still calling, you never hear me,

Crushed underneath,
of the weight from the strain,
and the pain that you placed,
upon me on that day...

This is really good, it's something so heartbreaking, brings back those awful moments when it all ends and you know it has. Well done!

Quite a deep piece but remember though it may feel like it now.. The pain won't last forever.
