Daily, I Keep Going (Acrostic )

by Maple Tree   May 23, 2016

During coffee
Alone,
Intertwined with
Loving
You,

I

Kitchen talk
Eloquently,
Emerged with
Polite conversation.

Greeting
Others with smiles
I
Never knew existed,
Growing within my soul.

    Hello Andrea,

I am glad Ben has nominated this as it really is very good...

especially the letters 'I' - the way these have been singled out to show how alone you are and feel despite being surrounded. It could also be shown to be two eyes looking out from a hollow soul into a world full of substance, but yet seems too far away - kind of connected by tear drenched tissues that threaten to pull apart at anytime.

The masks we wear are as thin as the tissues we wipe our broken hearts with.

    ((hugs)) for your pain.
