I can tell by the look, The look in your eyes, That you're hiding a secret Behind a disguise. When I see in the moonlight The intent in your mind, I look deep within me To see what I'll find. The only thing there Is my rage and my pain, Because you sent me home In the cold, bitter rain. I disappear in the fog Like a tattered, torn ghost; When you said that it's my fault Is when you hurt me the most. It gets me enraged To know I'm not to blame, But I won't be a player In your childish mind game. So I'll just go now, Back into my heart; To put me together, Because you pulled me apart.
