Butterflies In Motion:

by Scott Cole   Jun 5, 2016

They dangle in the darkness
And illuminate in bright neon,
Sprinkled with hints of glitter
My nervous butterflies of paean.

They flap their wings of wonder
Nearly a million beats a second,
With each one tickling my fancy
In anticipation of your presence.

They poke me and they tug upon
My heart and all it's love strings,
A stomach full of painted ladies
Each one bouncing like a spring.
