Brenda, wow this is a real beautiful yet sad write due to the subject. It's such ashame that this is happening all over the word so that young girls can have a meal or feed their family.
    You write with such delicacy.

Thank you Em-yes it is a shame. No-one should be subjected to this type of life let alone a child. Any adult who participates in this should be strung up and have things removed, just saying. Take care-Brenda

    Hello Brenda

This is a sad write indeed and it affected me profoundly.
Recently, for whatever reason, I cannot get to grips with the wrongs that adults do children (I think that's what inspired my recent poem). They are the one thing that adults everywhere - parents or not -should all be united in protecting above anything else.
Sadly and tragically, there are those poisonous spiders among us who seem to find the shadows and pounce on the innocent for their own sick gratification, in whatever form.
Here you highlight sexual abuse - which is what it is, consensual or not - and it really struck home with me as I saw a documentary not long ago about some of these young girls in Brazil being shoved out at a sickening age by PARENTS to perform these 'unspeakable acts' just to put food on the table. And it's the 'norm' there. Their sisters have done it before them as have their mothers.
The really horrid thing was the westerners who go out there specifically seeking these children out. Sometimes, I am embarrassed to be a human being.

Brenda, a terribly delicate subject but one that needs highlighting.

Well done and all the very best,
    Ben

Thank you Ben! I too have seen the documentaries about the sex trade with these poor children. It is horrible! When my daughter was 14 she had the opportunity to go to Juarez Mexico on mission with her church youth group. They were told about the girls that were being turned out by their brothers to earn money for the family. These girls were younger than my daughter! I don't understand how a parent can treat their children like that-I see these beautiful children, gifts to us, and they are just tossed away like trash-I don't know how some people can call themselves parents.

Patience awaits a desire. A concerned heart, heals depression.

Well, I can say this great poem of yours is delivering out the true black reality happening worldwide. It's happening in many domains, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, etc. I can't understand, parents even after knowing everything, still how can they throw their own children into the cage of adultery from where it becomes very difficult to come out. What the heck is wrong with those parents. It all seems like they are wounding the wings of daughters, at the age when they really needed to fly and touch the sky.

Adultery is soaring higher and higher year by year. Sorry I can't say where the world is going? It's a issue which should be been taken not lightly, because it affects a lot.

It is said that there is no comparison of mother's love. But I wonder where the love is being faded away when they stand in a brutal position to sell them. Is money more worthy then children.

(Above two lines is written only for those mothers who do this kind of illegal stuffs.)

I don't know whether I'm right or wrong:

But here in the 8th line
    she leads him
    I guess there should be
    she leads her

    I might be wrong here.

So it's a very sad and heart-touching write. Hope you will keep on doing your good jobs. The imaginary of darkness is making this write to stand out.

    Well done.

Augastus, thank you so much! I really appreciate your thorough commentary. I totally agree with you about not being able to understand how a parent could possibly subject their own child to this. The horrors these young girls are subjected to, I can't even begin to imagine the long lasting damage it causes. Don't get me started on the men that partake in these activities-there's a special place in hell for them. I always hold out hope that one day these things stop and kids can just be kids. Thank you again-
