Crumbled

Crumpled peace of paper a single sheet coated in smeared ink, tattered and torn, like the beating rhythm within our chests
As the clock ticks time dissolves into memories weathered and worn,
The note flows beside the gutter till the message is gone only the echo in my mind

    Wow! Loved it! You sure know how to bring the reader in with an impact of words that really hit in a way that is almost euphoric. Your work is short but indeed is strong. The detail and description your wrote was truly something else.
