My Name Is....

by Maple Tree   Jun 11, 2016

I'll answer to any name they wish to call me-

Within a world of voices,
names scatter crossed
a blue moon in winter.

Introducing myself
is a waste of time,
when silence is
far more pleasant
than chatter.

Diana,
can you help me?

Amanda,
I'm refusing
my medication
at this time.

"You will always be my Mary Anne"

When I give, heart and soul
it doesn't matter what they call me,
as long as they smile
and trust in the eyes
that love them-

Goodnight Sherlock,
see you tomorrow....

Lovely Poem. I can also imagine how hard it is for you each day.. but thank you for your work in the community.

Andrea, this is beautiful but so sad because of the context. I take my hat off to you for the work you do because it must be so difficult but so rewarding.

I was going to dismantle this piece but feel it's too personal.
