Grain

by Karla   Jun 16, 2016

She danced between worlds,
raining love and pills as
i tried to give meaning to her pain.
(5x7)

(i was small,
i was afraid)

i saw her heart sinking in pure depths,
it was when unknown waters flooded
the morning, taking us to hell and heaven
in a crescendo.
(161, 162, 163, 164...)

(i was small,
i was afraid)

she shivered: she was crossing shipless oceans.
her eyes were pools of solitude,
her soul suspended between two infinites.
it was when she fell from herself
and landed on my palms.

(but
i was small,
i was afraid)

___________________________

Life is a circle:
it never ends,
it never stops.
let us flow together
because
the moon is half full of shade
and the night sleeps in us.

my blood in your blood.
your pain in my pain.
we are one and you killed me too.
how many more deaths will be necessary
to bring life back to us?
we are grains:
new possibilities are hidden in the dark.
life will reinvent us
again.
