A fated moment..

by Michael   Jun 19, 2016

A somewhat fortuitous rendezvous,
when I bumped into
you.

Reminiscing, our flaws
and mistakes we made,
words exchanged
with a fervent tirade!

Fingers pointed with
a blaming prong
the taunting banter of
who's right and
who's wrong.

A feverish ambience
vented the air.

I held out my arm
a pledge for calm,
protect our hearts
from further harm.

A somewhat tepid embrace
tears, difficult to hold back
moulded upon our face.

Her fragrance, goaded
me so,
a thwarted arousal overwhelmed
my soul.

So damn difficult to
let go.

Our embrace gently faded
and we both became free.
Maybe moment of fate which
is just meant to be.
