Handling life on your own is the recipe for loneliness. It's sad to say, but even I at times avoid all humans because I feel bothersome with my issues; I must say that you have a community here that is probably more willing to help you than some people you are surrounded by. Being in the Air Force, I know that most people you are surrounded by are just forced to be where they are (judging by the army uniform in your photo); they end up being lethargic and are difficult to count on. Regardless, I agree with Ben, that if you close yourself off because of how you were taught then you will continue to be hurting your entire life. If humanity only relied on what they were taught, it is likely we wouldn't exist in the first place. From day one, before the bronze age, we have had to make our own rules and sort of improvise. |
