Embracing a theme

by patrick   Jul 3, 2016

Back in time, now lost in noise and silence
Relegated to what seems to be another life
But ones auto biography is erasable
What's done is done

On the other side of quite
Deep thoughts cohabitate with synergy
To fertilise the sprouting of new emotions
Ever changing the landscape of who I am

It is more than just an epidermis thing
Shedding cells like a snake is one way to go
But re-growth within one's mind
Is more profound

Effectively embracing change, is to grow
Growing is always painful
There is no other way
Its rebirth, cocoon to butterfly analogy does apply

I am locked into life
Truth and meaning dominate
King Solomon brings comfort
I am not alone, my dilemma is well documented

But has anyone seen the answers?
Aeon's down the line
The forest is still all question marks
But how do I begin to tell?
Articulate the well within
That spring of bubbling clear emotions
The purity of dream, that only spreads happiness
To this over loaded mess, we call life

I liked this a lot-very deep thoughts swirling about. Change can be painful but not always. I guess it depends if we embrace it or come into it kicking and screaming. Lots of food for thought in this write. Well done-
