The Days I like the Most

How lovely are the days when flowers bloom
but also when the rain comes dripping down
and frogs then start to jump from pond to pond
as birds turn off their fly to nest on pines
These are the days I like to be at home
to snuggle in my bed and be at rest
so cozy sleeping in between the sheets
awaiting for a brighter, newer day

But oh how lovely are these days
when flowers bloom and rain comes in
adorning yards and forming ponds
to waken frogs that are asleep
These are the days I like the most
when frogs just jump and jump like kids
from pond to pond and leaf to leaf
just splashing rain from here to here
