What if someone just has one eye or no eyes? Would they have no Windows for the soul? Or would they have no soul at all if they have one or no eyes?

This is how I understood this sintuit
If you have no soul then your eyes will not be windows.
If you have a soul then your eyes will tell.

So pretty much... I can conclude that the narator's definition of a soul is that the soul is good. That there cannot be evil souls.

Definitely, I have been over analyzing.
It does makes sense to use "soul."

I believe that you can tell a lot about a person if you look into your eyes, their honesty, integrity, insecurity, dishonesty and also when the soul and life has left a person. Whether through traumatic experience or just because you never had one in the first place - just plain evil. Just a few words but insightful and spot on Milly x

A wise old man once told me the soul lies in the left eye, the body in the right. and i have witnessed soiled souls with dark specks in their left eye.

Love this. Reminds me of the several women that encountered Ted Bundy and had a gut feeling that something was wrong, in spite of his charisma, the eyes truly are windows to the soul (and lack of).
