N, a personal, emotional and well written piece here. I really hope it's not literal but I guess that it is. Life can be so hard at times but remember you may not feel lucky because of past events (I've been there but in different circumstances) but you are.

Anyone who expects a human to be slip-up free is holding you to too high standards that I doubt they even hold him/herself to.

Regardless, a poem filled with heartfelt imagery and emotions that are as raw as an open wound. I hope you find a way to patch it up and let it heal, and if the person on the other end does not want yours to... know their wound is the one that will not, not yours, and most definitely not by your doing.

I could never get the hang of reading poems that are very direct about things that happen in life, but every now and again I try, just in case things change. It flows well - no pun intended. I also liked that it rhymes.
