Keep on, keeping on

by Timothy   Jul 9, 2016

I am still here,
Wondering about the time,
Looking at this website,
Cant believe my mind.

Am I really this old?
Do I have adult kids?
I'm living a life that's slipping away,
And a persona that forbids.

Most people that I once knew here,
They have vanished like the wind;
Yet I come back here,
Like a zealot that has sinned.

What do I hope to find, after so many years?
An old man that looks for his living grace;
A revival, a retraction,
A softening of a wrinkled face.

    This is terribly descriptive. A nice piece of poetry. Don't stop writing!

    I liked this a lot. Time flies by and every year it seems to go faster. We have so many people gone and we are still standing. Makes one wonder-

      Thank you. I don't come here that much, but I cant stop a tradition that started clear back in 2004!
