Someone like you

by Yakari Gabriel   Jul 11, 2016

I heard, that you're better now
this time it wasn't from your own mouth
so I had less trouble believing it.

they told me, that you don't cheat anymore
that you claim your girls publicly now
that you no longer invite them through the backdoor

I heard, that everyone in your life
is proud of the progress you've made
I look past the heartache,
and realize I am too

Yakari, I always look forward to your work and this is no exception, it's written really well as always and I guess many people can relate to a time where they were lied to or even cheated on and now that persons changed and we shouldn't blame ourselves because they are the bad ones although I know that we do, I've been there many times.
