Your "Je Suis" is so different from mine and yet essentially carries a similar theme: Angst and pain spill from your work but far more is the feeling of helplessness. You seem to discover true hardship in the plight of those caught in the war zones, contrasted to your own "safe haven" yet you qualify your feeling of complaisance by the realization that in the current state of affairs no one has anything close to a safe haven.
