Find the flow (short song)

by Maher   Jul 20, 2016

Would time remember me
if I stood right by the horizon
as the waves fold themselves
neatly upon the shore?
When daylight breaks on us
and the night calls the sea to rise up
to meet the sweet moon's glow
that's laid atop our floor.
Should it not rescue us
when the sun falls into it's slumber,
to kiss the warm air cold
and venge our felled tears.
The night, it grows on us;
our savior from incandescent heat,
through the fall of her rain;
her cool, gentle tease.

    A beautiful, image filled piece as always. Can't wait to hear the music to it, if it gets to that point :)

    Maher,

    I can almost hear this playing - perhaps repeated a couple of times to a wistful strumming of a guitar?
    Beautiful wording and imagery throughout.

      Thank you Sir. Quite possibly, yes. The music is still in the works and knowing me, it probably won't leave that phase, but overall it's a happier tune in my mind so far :)
