Until Death

by Scott Cole   Jul 27, 2016

Beyond all the misery my heart has set free
And all the pain that it's bestowed upon me,
Beyond all of the tears that I ever have cried
For all those reasons that I'm not sure why.

Lies but a tiny seed that's impossible to see
That on my birthday God planted inside me,
It's who I am within it's what sets me apart
It's all of that love that's sealed in my heart.

And over the years it has slowly grown up
From a tiny little root to a fluffy buttercup,
It's blossoms can be seen for many a miles
Turning sad little frowns into shining smiles.

It's warm on the inside and hot to the touch
You only can feel it if you love me so much,
And for all of those things that I ever shall do
Nothing will ever be anymore special to you.

For it is only but love that will overcome it all
From that very second that we begin our fall,
And never again will you take a single breath
Without knowing that I'm yours Untill Death.
