But soft my sweet

by Dancing Rivers   Aug 12, 2016

But soft my sweet
what tangible bliss do we devour
as we dream of reality
and realize our dreams?

But sweet my soft words
taste upon your soul
as we embrace each eve'
slumbering in succulent joy

ah my darling
my heart's song and the eye of my apple
the joy of my life and the smile in my eyes
what love is this magical feeling?

oh but softly my sweet
embrace my soul and let us dance
let us live as if it's our last chance
for you are my life's meaning.

Pure words. I really like the flow and your choice of words and how you used them unconventionally. Keep it up!
