Moral Compass

by DarkKnight   Aug 21, 2016

My Moral Compass just went south
a happy grin upon my mouth as I
turn over and kiss your hair then
rise and dress and go down the stairs

Into the garage now a cool breeze upon
my brow to collect the tools that I will need
my aching hunger soon to feed

Slip silently into the dark a lonesome vixen
calling barks excitement rising in my soul
sharp knives and rope I crave it all

Through the back door left on the latch
the daughter sleeping the first I catch
one fast probe and scarlet spray oh my
god I want to stay to taste the fruit of my
need the dripping fruit an apple bleeds

Now onwards for the main prize he goes first
no time to rise then the rope and stifled cries
now my work can really start take my time take
eyes and heart oh sweet Jesus it feels so good
in the moonlight dark purple blood

Out the back and on my way happy sated for another
day into the garage tools put back innocuous on the rack up the stairs a quick shower the sleeping pill will
last for hours into bed kiss your hair my one true love
sleeping there

Back to sleep dreamless deep smile on my face
new secrets keep into the normal me I morph
my moral compass swings back to north.
