What to do what to do
when to being a mommy you are new?
All these new words like gripe and colic
are driving to to be an alcoholic (jokes)

To ask for big gifts or small
or buy everything from the mall?

So many choices and skills to learn
whilst fighting off this heartburn
will I survive
your first year of life?

Will I crumble and fall
curled into a wailing ball?

Whatever to do indeed
plenty assistance I will need
when little baby I finally meet!!

    Hi ,
    I can relate to this..I'm a mother of one and I can tell that being a mom would be our glory.

    As I read this poem everything flashes back..the feelings,hardships, labor pain etc..

    And men don't have any idea... my husband asked me "how it felt like?" I just replied " it's just like yours got caught in a zipper 10x"....

    congratulation for this excellent piece and welcome to motherhood.

    Hi, this is a piece many ladies can relate to. All the decisions when you are pregnant. The thoughts of not living upto the expectations of others but all you can do is take each day as it comes.. You will probably make mistakes in the process but don't we all? Remember a mothers instinct is always right.
