    Good morning Larry (5am here)

I like this syntuit. It combines the slap stick laughing at trip, fall or stumble with acts of nature, like a big red wood falling alone out in a vast forest.

Seeing someone else trip can be funny; watching their arms flailing, taking extra long fast steps to try and steady their balance. If they manage this, its a kind of shared achievement if witnessed. If however, these measures are unsuccessful the inevitable can happen, a person can fly forward and land sprawled out. Hopefully with only their pride hurt. Whenever this has happened to me, I do all the, arm swinging action and once in control again, what do I do? Well, I check to see if anyone has seen my slap stick sketch. Usually, whether someone is watching or not I will laugh, but usually with relief if nobody has witnessed it. So, like the question 'if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there, did it make a sound' is apt here. If my trip was not heard or seen did it ever happen? SO, I will continue to laugh, to remind myself these events are worth sharing!

As for the form - a superb job from the linking title, to the syllable count, to the 3rd line that makes you go, 'ah, yes clever'.

    Take care,

    Michael

    Well...
I once was moping a floor, I slipped and fell on my tush... Someone saw while I fell, and subsequently, asked, "are you okay?" My replied, "I'm just taking a break." (While still laid on the floor)

After laughing so hard, the fall didn't hurt as much. As far as the tree falling... it may not be as funny. I'm however, afraid of falling. Not entirely sure of why. If I were a tree, I think I would be afraid to fall because of the possibility that that fall may detach my roots from the ground, and all together, deprive me of life, or mainly, that I could fall on others and cause injures to them. Just like when a tree falls on another tree and the other tree falls... however, my take is that your sinuit is mainly focusing on the falls that other people have not seen. In other words, When one falls laugh so others may realize it. Theres nothing wrong with it, someone else may get to laugh a little or someone else may come and help you if one is still on the floor.

I want to cast you as a talk show host! Or possibly in a new "I Love Lucy" sitcom.

I liked this a lot-recently I face planted, broke my nose but was still cracking jokes. You have to laugh, first and foremost at yourself. Well done-
