welcome to PnQ's - this poem is wonderfully rich with dark images. It describes an unworldly world where winged, inky black demons roam preying on those less knowing of this world and its unwritten rules.

Like a fledgling flying the nest it's next few hours, days and weeks are fraught with danger. Will it survive, who knows. If it learns from mistakes, close calls it may just live to become an Eagle.

Well done, it is a dark world, but a simple pen can add sunlight to it, stream light onto the page and bring a smile where there once was a frown.
