Mistake

by Georgy   Aug 30, 2016

Again alone with myself, lost in the labyrinth of memory.
Quickly placing on shelf, words which were lost in a melody.
A consequence of self-lie: my current state of melancholy.
Adolescent strive, led to an early end of the story.

Still full of confusion, stupid- was waiting for glory.
Felt thrill in illusion, but forgot about what should I worry.
Unconsciously held resolution, stopped me from hurry.
Went back to fusion, apparently memories should be buried.

...if only memories could be buried. Sometimes it seems that the more we want to forget our mistakes, the more permanent the memory of them becomes.

Well done on this cathartic piece of writing. Nice rhyming too!

    Take care,

    Michael
